Tasting Notes:

The sole purpose of this wine is to bring pleasure to your every day. Intense and fulsome Shiraz meets bright and cheerful Grenache to create a spicy, chocolatey and eminently drinkable Barossa red wine.

"I take pleasure in other' pleasure' when a sip of my wine brings a gentle smile to a face a knowing nod a look that comes straight back at you and says your wine makes me very happy. I can't think for what other purpose I'd want my wines to exist but to bring pleasure to those that put their hand in their pocket to buy one.
Despite the individuals they are, Shiraz and Grenache are obvious partners and blend together seamlessly. The Shiraz is sourced from the slightly elevated, cooler climes of Williamstown in the Barossa's south and the Grenache is from an 80+ year old vineyard located on the Barossa Valley floor. A 60/40 blend, the wine shows rich Barossa Shiraz flavours of plums, chocolate and spice with the Grenache contributing a lush round palate and juicy red summer berry fruited lift".'- Kym Teusner

Wine Region:

A portion of this fruit comes from a vineyard of the same name which was planted between 1971 and 1975 in a fertile area between Lyndoch and Williamstown. The remaining fruit was sourced from other premium vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valley's.

Food Pairing:

The rich, complex and supple characters of this wine are a delicious match to roast leg of lamb, lamb chops or braised beef.
