This wine was matured in oak barrels, ranging from new to 2 year oak with a mixture of French and American oak.
The nose exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice and confectionary notes. Full bodied and possessing a plump texture the palate delivers rich joosy flavours of ripe blackberry, dark chocolates, liquorice and spice. Soft velvety tannins. Good depth with medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, dark chocolate and spice. Drink now to 15 years.
