A unique blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Shiraz harvested from our Southern Vales vineyards, this lightly oaked wine displays varietal Sangiovese black cherry and earth, with the Merlot and Shiraz providing mulberry, black olive and liquorice aromas and flavours finishing with a complex textured palate.
Located approximately 35km south of Adelaide in South Australia. Grapes were first planted in 1838 and some vines are more than 100 years old and are still producing. Today there's more than 88 cellar doors. McLaren Vale is recognized as one of the best Shiraz growing regions in Australia, second only to the Barossa.
