TASTING NOTES:

This Beaujolais Villages has a purplish red colour which perfectly reveals its Gamay origins.

Nose: It has aromas of red fruits, especially cherry.

Mouth: On the palate, it shows the same red fruits aromas, it has a smooth and delicate texture with lot of finesse. Thanks to its proximity to the famous "Crus", it retains much of the same qualities.

WINE REGION:

Jaffelin’s history is inseparable from that of the Collégiale Notre Dame de Beaune (the Notre Dame collegiate church in Beaune). Over the centuries, our cellars have housed the wines of the Collégiale and the Cardinals.

The Chapitre’s cellars changed ownership in 1816, the date when the Jaffelin brothers established their Maison de négoce. (trading house).

Today our wines rest in the monastic tranquillity of the Chapitre’s cellars. as they did eight centuries ago.

FOOD PAIRING:

Delicate foods such as roast beef.
