This vibrant wine is an excellent example of classic New Zealand Pinot Gris is a vibrant lively wine, with varietal aromas of pear juice and a hint of spice. The palate exhibits flavours of apples, pears and stone fruit with a fresh, lively finish.
Located in New Zealand in the north east of the South Island. It's best known for its dry climate and Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir wines. Worldwide interest in Marlborough wines, particularly Sauvignon Blanc, has continued to fuel the region wine boom. The region currently has 23,600 hectares of land planted with planted grapes. These plantings are primarily located within the Wairau Valley. Over the last decade, viticulture has also spread southeast into the smaller slightly cooler Awatere Valley.
